John and Marge Butterfield

John and Marge entertain their audiences with a wide variety of music, including Popular, Country and Folk. Their close vocal harmonies add a special touch to those favorite songs that we all remember, and love listen to. Years ago, they discovered that music was a wonderful way to reach out to others, and to connect through common interests and fond memories.
John grew up in the Caribbean where he was raised on Calypso and Latin music, along with tunes from the "U.S.A.", that came in over the family shortwave radio. Marge first discovered her singing voice while riding in the family car and harmonizing with the songs on the radio.
Right after they were married, John and Marge headed overseas, where they lived and worked for several years. Absorbing different cultures nurtured their love of music and their desire to share it with others. Always striving to grow and expand their repertoire, Marge and John have studied voice and guitar with a number of great teachers over the years.
Today, John and Marge live in Williston, Vermont. They perform throughout Vermont and Northern New England.
